Biography

GELATINE is a New York based female fronted Japanese loud rock band. While her live performance is very hyperactive and funny, lead singer Seiko sings in Japanese with catchy, and often sentimental melodies. Unlike any typical punk rock bands, Gelatine’s music have quite complex structures, which is another element that makes them very unique. They are heavily influenced by Japanese traditional music, J-Pop/J-Rock, anime songs/soundtracks, pre 90′s punk, heavy metal, etc.
